The Reptile Hub is the centre for herpetology, public health promotion pertaining to snake bites, & an Indigenous reptile experience. We also target specific tailored shows for people living with disability under the NDIS scheme. It is the most unique shop and the first of its kind in the world.
THE REPTILE HUB
The Reptile Hub is based at 2/3 Inglis Street in Diamond Creek This is the centre point location for:

Office base for all activities relating to The Snake Bite Project

Storage area of venom supplies for commercial sale.

Information on snake bite and snake safety creation, development and distribution for both local and international markets.

Public viewing (by appointment) of snake venom extraction in small groups

The Reptile Hub aims to be a well known centre that puts Diamond Creek on international maps for herpetology, public health promotion pertaining to snake bites and both local and global businesses. It will be arguably the most unique shop and the first of its kind in the world.
REPTILE SHOWS FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH DISABILITY
Not all reptiles are dangerous. At THE REPTILE HUB - we provide specialised and tailored reptile shows for people living with disability who for any reason can't otherwise travel or be in large crowds. The Reptile Hub is a safe space where we can work with you/your carer to understand your needs and accomodate a show accordingly. You can get up close with blue tongue lizards, shingle backs, bearded dragons, water dragons, pygmy dragons, crocodiles, turtles, frogs, snakes, pythons and more!

We work with you and your carer to ensure that all needs are met. You have the opportunity to help feed some frogs or lizards, pat and hold the animals, get up close in an interactive experience tailored just for you. At the REPTILE HUB, we do NOT discriminate, instead we include you as much as possible to have the experiences with animals that will make you smile.

ABOUT OUR ANIMALS AT THE REPTILE HUB
Our animals at THE REPTILE HUB are looked after many times during the day where they are fed, watered, allowed time to roam and of course have their temperature and health monitored. At the reptile hub we have:

SCHOOL PROGRAMS
At the Reptile Hub we provide school programs for classes to learn about the fascinating world of snakes and the science behind snakes, snake antivenom production and more. We can tailor presentations and talks to students to learn all about snakes in a safe manner for science projects, general learning, environmental education and more.

Our school educational programs for students about reptiles are fun, entertaining, hands on (not the dangerous stuff!) and involves interactive learning.
